La biblioteca de Investigadores de la Provincia de Guadalajara (BIPGU), dependiente de la Diputaci\u00f3n Provincial de Guadalajara, es un centro especializado en bibliograf\u00eda provincial. Por la naturaleza de las obras que re\u00fane es un inmejorable centro de documentaci\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica sobre la provincia, al mismo tiempo que cumple tambi\u00e9n la funci\u00f3n de biblioteca auxiliar del Archivo de la Diputaci\u00f3n Provincial y del Centro de la Fotograf\u00eda y la Imagen Hist\u00f3rica de Guadalajara<\/p>\n
Junto a los fondos Bibliogr\u00e1ficos la BIPGU cuenta con los archivos personales de dos importantes intelectuales del siglo XX vinculados con la provincia, del cronista provincial don Fco. Layna Serrano y el del escritor don Jos\u00e9 Herrera Soler ‘Petere’; donados a la Diputaci\u00f3n Provincial en 1971 y 2003 respectivamente.<\/p>\n
